2012 Pacificon Day 1 of 1 Antenna Forum

Antenna forum is standing room only and, at this moment, K6OIK is talking about stubs and filters. The general theme is learning 'how' a stub functions within one's antenna system. I'm getting the idea instead of installing an antenna match build a stub? The result is greater bandwidth and ease of switching from one band to the other. On the other hand, I really enjoyed Dean, N6BV earlier presentation about high power vs. low power, propagation, and RadioSport. Ultimately, low power into a dipole can compete, however; two 's' unit separation does make a difference when running a frequency.
