2012 North American CW Sprint | WRTC 2014 Qualifier

North American CW Sprint Sponsored National Contest Journal
A stunning day near the beach with vaulting blue skies, soft breeze into shackadelic, idyllic coastal temperature a little over 70 degrees, and a RadioSport event scheduled later this afternoon. Likewise, the Italian Grand Prix is scheduled for tomorrow morning, West Coast delay in addition NH8S is the buzz in the Five Cities. Lastly, Radio Dawg took me for a walk and she tuckered out a little early, I followed up with resistance training in the club house pool and spa to conclude almost an hour of cardiovascular time.

The North American CW Sprint is off the hook ham radio fun that challenges one's RadioSport skill set. The speed is words-per-minute red line like the Italian Grand Prix and, after the first hour, competitors begin slowing down. Additionally, this event requires an operator to move at least 5 kilohertz after completing an exchange, if one called CQ on the frequency.

This challenge alone is stand out fun because I'm always moving and a search and log benefit for later events scheduled this winter. I hope to see you in the Sprint log.

Contest on!
