A job well done and the Beach Boys ARC enjoyed lots of #hamr fun through the weekend. The weather on the central coast of California was field day perfect both Saturday and Sunday. The engine that powers our ionosphere blazed sunshine on our land locked island with moderate to lite wind on Saturday afternoon with temperatures not exceeding 70 degrees.
Certainly, everyone is recovering after a full throttle effort at butt-in-the-chair time, setting up infrastructure, then tearing down. The effect was zombie like when I finally collapsed on the couch late Sunday afternoon. Some reported hearing long delayed echoes between their hemispheres after pulling field day duty.
Overall, the Beach Boys ARC logged 1,269 Qs while notching 97 percent of available multipliers missing only New Hampshire and two difficult Canadian provinces.
Lastly, I want to thank John, W6SL and his wife Becky for hosting the Beach Boys ARC as your hospitality, generosity, and gourmet food lead the club to a best ever record.
