The tradition continues across the span of time as competitors gather once more beneath Earth's ionospheric dome. They are from the West and they are from the East. They are good friends. They are fierce friends. Some are Sweepstakes tested yet others enter upon the high frequency field for the first time. Nonetheless, for the steely veteran and the anxious eyed novice, each Sweepstakes will ignite the spirit of good sportsmanship, create yet another story, and stoke one's passion for RadioSport within the fiery kiln of radio frequency competition.

It will be said in the halls where competitors gather that Sweepstakes CW 2011 was an epic one for veteran and novice alike.

My #hamr Weekend Update

Almost shackadelic QRT and my update for the weekend is a quiet one inside the ham radio fun zone. I re-arranged my computer screens, rewound my ugly choke at the base of the 3BTV, and continued work at SL's QTH. I logged TX7M on 12m late Friday night with a total band count of three in addition JA1VND (12m) and XE1ZW (10m) for the weekend.

A website of note is Live Contest Score and it looks like a migration is underway for RadioSport score postings.
