RadioSport USA | NA CW Sprint
My weekend is shackadelic because the North American CW Sprint event is scheduled for later this afternoon. It's one of my favorites because the format is a challenge as no one station can 'hold' a frequency per say. Another reason is the fast and furious speed of CW Sprint. The event is four hours of RadioSport fun.
Local news around the Five Cities, UM donated a crank up tower to the Beach Boys Amateur Club. An idea is floating around for a club house with a little slice of land for tower construction. The idea emerged after reading about European clubs pooling their resources and creating competitive grade stations. Why not in California?
By the way, DRR suggested reading is PileUp, sponsored by Contest Club Finland. One will find within its pages excellent technical articles, a not-so serious perspective on RadioSport, and a well spring of creative ideas. Thank you Contest Club Finland for producing a stellar e-magazine for free.
Best results to everyone this evening and hope to see you in N1MM's Contest Logger.
Contest on.
