RadioSport USA | 2011 CW Open (CWO)

Innovative! Low power, low profile friendly with a unique operating schedule. The CW Open (CWO) is riding the RadioSport reflector wave and teams are beginning to build. The event is 'open' to all that is if one is beginning to learn Morse code to those who have mastered the art. I'm looking forward to CWO because of its unique operating sessions and each new callsign logged is a new multiplier!

The exchange is sequential serial number and name. CWO shapes up a little like the North American QSO Party (NAQP) and a little like the CQ WPX franchise that is sequential numbering (NAQP), one's name (NAQP), and callsign prefix (WPX) as a multiplier. The emphasis is the exchange and one's prefix the multiplier!

I'm recommending CWO as shackadelic and win-win for RadioSport's future. Hope to see you in log as well as other Beach Boys Amateur Radio Club members who live in the Five Cities.

Contest on!

P.S. Logged a few WAE CW Qs from QDH's QTH this weekend while finishing the capacitance hat for K6MM's 160 "No Excuses" 160m Vertical Antenna.
