My #hamr Weekend Update

Who had ham radio fun this weekend? If you totally dig our great
hobby, whatever mode, whatever niche please leave a comment. I'd like
to read about your weekend adventures because ham radio is getting its
groove on.

The Five Cities signal report is all about CQ WPX SSB weekend and
Cycle 24 going off the hook. A few of the Beach Boys demolished their
personal goals nearly doubling their production in the merciless
chair. It's RadioSport fever inside suburban shacks as 15m arose from
its slumber and 10m nears the tipping point. Contest on Beach Boys!

I worked my listening skill this weekend because WPX SSB like a giant
black hole drew operators to the event horizon. My RF challenged
station heard a few signals, one monumental swarm on 20m CW, and most
excellent technical discussions on our local Five Cities repeater.

I finished adding propagation data for two RadioSport events, filled
in grid square locations breaking the 500 worked barrier, signed
traditional QSL cards for Worked All States, confirmed a new entity,
and started the LoTW renewal process. Lastly, logging one LU5 station
on ten meters after downloading Firefox Four and downsized KA3DRR
RadioSport wear at CafePress for the tribe. One can purchase a golf
shirt, an organic tee shirt, or coffee mug with blog logo.

Ham radio is shackadelic.
