Dr. DX Antenna Wax Meets Dash Produced By Jeff, K1NSS dit dit

Shackadelic001 is not official until a Dr. DX Double Zepp Antenna Wax sticker is in my possession and I'm wearing a Bentwire Design tee shirt while operating CQ WW CW this year. Quote of the moment, "If you don't know CW, You don't know dit." Let's look at the coolness radiating from the towers of Fi-Ni somewhere on the Lost Island.

First, I can accept with full honors, that I'm a Dit Head living a shackadelic dream, striving for a Lost Island DX Society (LIDS) operating chair. Why not? Just to be within ground wave of Dr. DX is enough for this Dit Head.

Secondly, hanging out with Dash, The Dog Faced Ham like walking on the Lost Island beach rates a QSL in my logbook. And drink from Dash! Lucky Contest Mug? This is the stuff of low power, low profile ambitions.

My shackadelic friend's 002 - 012, 807, 073 and others please check out the following signals.

I'm rounding up duckets for an official Dr. DX Double Zepp Antenna Wax sticker and a LIDS tee shirt going into RadioSport Winter 2009.

This Weekend In RadioSport | Sprint Style

RadioSport USA | FISTS Get Your Feet Wet Weekend.
The core of this event is send slowly, clearly, and transmit assigned data in order. I like this one, "Human power transmissions only" that is straight key. My first straight key came from Radio Shack, or, The Shack, or whatever and it was mounted on a piece of compressed board. I remember its fake gold base and stiff Morse code actuation but tapping code was a lot of fun. Two categories Newcomer or Experienced based on the honor system. A must event for Morse code newcomers because it builds memories.

RadioSport USA | Jay Hudak Memorial 80M Sprint.
The goal? Work as many PSK31 operators within six hours and the Memorial Sprint is open to all licensed operators with 80m privileges suggested frequency is 3580 MHz.

RadioSport Eu | Worked All Europe (WAE) v.SSB.
Global weekend as WAE enters RadioSport arena to the thunderous applause of stadium Earth fans.

RadioSport USA | Arkansas QSO Party.
The Big 50 party rolls through Arkansas this weekend and rare counties are available for one's logbook.

RadioSport USA | SOC Marathon Sprint.
Who said ham radio does not have a sense of humor, "Most Sprints run four hours, but since we're Second Class Op's, we need more time."

RadioSport USA | North American Sprint v.CW.
My favorite push-the-operator-envelope event and I'm looking forward to operating Sprint this weekend.

My 10,000 Hour RadioSport Challenge | 9,917 - 10 = 9,907 Hours To Go

A short note because the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing this evening and I wanted to subtract 10 additional hours from the challenge. The North American QSO Party v.CW was a stellar good time inside RadioSport arena. I wonder if Cousin QRM or Dr. DX is in the logbook? Have you heard of Dr. DX Double Zepp All Band Antenna Wax? Move over Dr. Zoggs Sex Wax "The Best For Your Stick" because Double Zepp All Band gets it!

I'd like to thank Cycle 24 for turning down the noise across four bands of operation. A few operators reported, best signal thus far, from the condo contest station. Hope to see the crew at Fi-Ni Report in the Sprint log this weekend. Just who is Cousin QRM and Dr. DX?

P.S. I want a Dr. DX Double Zepp Wax sticker if Fi-Ni report is selling one.
