I queried #hamr Twitter network regarding 20m's exceptional opening last Saturday night. This spectrum space remained quite active at least until 11 o'clock in the evening local time. However I missed the fun because I thought sunspot zero equaled high band closure after sunset. Moreso I disregarded high band activity as possible at this stage in the cycle. A meaningful answer followed my query and I wanted to post the following links in addition to the latest prediction.
I'm learning there is a lot more to propagation than checking typical numbers like A- and K-index. One must delve further into the data to find answers and discover high frequency (HF) opportunities. For example, I'm learning about solar wind, interplanetary magnetic field (IMF), and look for a south pointing IMF known as southward Bz.

I'm looking forward to learning and improving my understanding as Cycle 24 progresses toward its peak sometime in the future.
