YouTube Videos At KA3DRR Via FriendFeed | Eve Online

I'm exploring massively multiplayer online gaming (MMOG) for ideas. We know Millennials are gamers with a culture unto its own. The persona of yesterday's slide rule geek is the persona of today's tee-shirted, mobile device carrying, technology savvy, iPod listening Millennial.

The geek has changed since the slide rule. However, one day, I'm going to wear my pocket protector. I watched Eve Online videos at YouTube and the complexity of the game suggests a new generation of intelligence.

Scoff? Yell? Throw me out with the bath water but, when one observes the fluidity of information and the dynamics of decision making, I was astounded.

I'm positive most of MMOG players have an understanding of worm holes, black holes, gravity to mention a few terms and its influence on the game. I collected a few samples for one to make their own determination, conversely, a comparison video is included on the menu as well.

Imagine, for a moment, if one of our Big Three, a national organization or two, and local clubs marketed themselves like Eve Online? Ham radio is the nuts and bolts of a starship, a battle cruiser, or star fighter. We have wire, resistors, capacitors, transistors, semiconductors, digital signal processing, MOSFETS, and software defined too cognitive radio. Listen to inter-communication between ships in the middle of battle.

We've got it but the outreach is in the message. And today's message is visual with a stellar soundtrack.

Life is high frequency.

RSS Feed Change & I'm Goggle Juiced

FeedBurner migrated its operation to Google servers and I clicked my transfer link this morning. My fingers are crossed for good measure. The FeedBurner team assurance is high confidence but let me know if really simple syndication (RSS) feed problems exist?

I hope this went flawless without any interruptions in the KA3DRR warp drive. Where is Spock when I need him? Scottie!

On Radio Dawg | Bob, K0NR commented "So this is the famous Dog Xray..."

Read comment (link).

Looks like Radio Dawg has a dental appointment in the morning. She's got a broken front tooth. That is number two for our DXer. No single sideband (SSB) for her or we might get a whistling, "CQ DX."

On Add A Kilowatt Of Success To Your Amateur Radio Blog | Sands Contest Group replied, "Some good stuff there, plenty of hints!"

Read comment (link).

Thank you for your wonderful comment and a few of the themes still hold weight.

  • Write, write, and write.
  • Adhere to one's writing schedule.
  • Be clear and simple.
  • Really simple syndication (RSS).
Times have changed and RSS finally gained traction as most ham radio content is delivered into your reader. A big change indeed. Perhaps the biggest phenomena to grip blogging since my Kilowatt Of Success posting is micro-blogging.

My very best to the Sands Contest Group M0SCG | MX0SCG and your most excellent blog (link) as well.

Contest on.

HamSphere Hits 10,049 Members & Happy One Year Anniversary

HamSphere gains traction hitting a roster of 10,049 participants in one year. Is HamSphere peaking or is there additional growth through this year? I'm hedging another 5,000 in the coming months. Kelly Lindman, SM7NHC who innovated HamSphere's simulated ionospheric conditions recently added a slide control for microphone and audio levels.

Lindman stated in his email that HamSphere version 30 is now available (link).

Listen to audio samples (link) and see HamSphere's technical schematic (link) as well. Happy one year anniversary HamSphere!
