Why Is Xtreme Category Feared?
What is up with snark? What is up with slamming the door in the face of imagination and possibility? What has happened to can-do spirit and let's get the team behind this one? CQ World Wide announced Xtreme Category for the purpose of innovation, instead, a greater percentage of commentary is snarky at the current Xtreme poll. That's disappointing in my logbook.
Why is Xtreme Category feared?
What a fantastic opportunity at excelling and I'm looking around the shackadelic thinking about future possibilities not limitations. One operator suggested extremely small antennas, well, what type of antennas are inside one's mobile device? Think. Think, about the one who invents an extremely small antenna that functions like a dipole for those operating within CC&R and/or HOA defined communities. Has one thought about patent possibilities that develop as a result of the Xtreme Category?
Fear stinks like a pile of too much information. Intuitively, Xtreme Category, is feared because it upsets status quo. A familiar, routine that instinctively (n = 124) or 68% of the poll respondents safely answered no. However, (n = 26) or 14% answered an innovative, let's take on the challenge and create something, yes.
Xtreme category is not about right now instead it is about long term vision and innovation, in other words, change. The domain of wireless communication is moving ahead at Internet speed and commerce. On the other hand, another respondent waits for an uptick in Cycle 24 to quash Xtreme Category relevancy, totally missing the potential. An uptick in sunspots is not solving our relevancy dilemma when competing against an array of entertainment devices nor will sunspots stop the march of progress.
I, for one want to meet those 26 innovators because they are not afraid.
