Life outside of shackadelic kept me busy through the week and I wanted time off during our Independence Day weekend. Regular posting resumes on Monday.

• Our #hamr network on Twitter enjoyed a robust discussion regarding KE9V's Ham Logging as a Service. Who will be the first to take logging into the cloud?
• Planning is underway for the first ever HamrHack "Learn and Operate" Gathering somewhere between Shell Beach and Arroyo Grande. We are an informal group of like minded operators who want to drill into Amateur Radio's technical aspects. Likewise, our goal is to move beyond testing memorization, into the practical hands-on world of ham radio as an inspired group.
